Window Washing

How often should I get my windows washed?
It’s good to get your windows washed once to twice a year. Its most common to get them done in the spring after the roads, and dust have been cleared, and often a second time in the fall so they are squeaky clean for the winter season!
What solution do you use to clean the windows?

We use a mixture of vinegar and a biodegradable cleaning agent.

What tools/equipment do you use?

All crews are supplied with a range of ladders, squeegees, and cloths, used for multiple purposes. Exterior windows are commonly cleaned with our Water-Fed poles, which allow us to reach windows as high as 65-feet and dry with a spotless finish! We provide tools to remove grease residue, common on kitchen windows and patio glass near BBQs, as well as all other equipment needed to provide you with the highest standard of window cleaning.

What is a Water-fed pole?

The Water-fed system uses a dual filter to de-ionize water completely removing all minerals, leaving the water at a PPM of zero. After using the brush head to scrub and rinse the window, the window can be left to air dry without the worry of spots or streaks as the purified water drys clear. The extendable pole attached to the filter ranges from 9-65 feet, allowing our crews to clean high up and difficult windows that couldn’t be reached with just a ladder.

Are the windows cleaned by hand?
All interior windows are cleaned by hand with squeegees.  Exterior windows are cleaned using both the latest in technology, a water filtration system, as well as the traditional method with squeegees by hand.
Are the window sills cleaned as well?

Yes! The sills on the windows are always wiped down and ensured to be clean after the window has been washed.

What happens if it rains?

We understand that Edmonton weather is not always the most permissible; If it rains during the time of your appointment, you will receive an email or a phone call with a new proposed date and time for your appointment.

Can I request a screen cleaning?
Yes, screen cleaning is available for an additional cost. This service can be requested either at the time of booking, or while the crew is on site. For the screen cleaning, the screens are all collected and taken outside to be scrubbed down, rinsed off, and fully dried before being placed back into all the windows.
Do I have to be home for my appointment?

For the interior window cleaning portion of the appointment, you will need to be home to give the crew access. Don’t worry though, our crews are able to adapt to your schedule! As it is not necessary for you to be home during the exterior window cleaning portion of your appointment, you can request which services they start and finish with.

Snow Removal

What happens if i drive over the snow before you get there

If you pack down the snow before we get there we will do our best to clean it to the concrete. If it is not coming up, which may happen with continuous snowfalls,  we will come back to it on a “maintenance day”.  Maintenance days are when we take the time to make sure everything is perfect.

What if it snows longer than 24 hours

If it snows longer than twenty-four hours we call these “continuous snowfalls”. During continuous snowfalls we will come out once every 24 hours to clean up the snow.
